RECAP: 5 year anniversary

All we can really say is thank you!

Thanks for the amazing spirits, thanks for the vibrant energy, thanks for everyone’s time and dedication to the weekend. We had a blast with all of the distinct personalities that joined us for our three-day 5 year anniversary celebration.

We couldn’t be more grateful, proud, and fulfilled.

For everyone who couldn’t be part of the madness, here's what you missed...

On Friday we kicked the festivities off with a gallery night at our HQ in the heart of Kreuzberg.

We showcased some of our favorite photos from the past 5 years of Bridge the Gap, were treated to a fine South African barbecue brought to us by Amandla Streetfood, and prepped our dance routines for the Sunday afterparty to the banging tunes of Haizel and Mr. Trouble.

Saturday morning we opened up our Pop-Up Store on Friedrichstraße to release our capsule collection and provide the Bridge the Gap community with a clubhouse for the weekend. Workouts and radio sessions by our very own BERLIN BRAVES x BCR RADIO studio kept the crowd tight. The shake-out run, meanwhile, ensured we took the weekend's performance aspect at least a little seriously.

Sunday’s credo was, “if you don’t run, you cheer,” which is why we put together a block party on the sidelines of the half-marathon to root for all of the runners. Elijah Hook performed live and the homies of BASSGANG brought fire to the decks.

To end things with a bang, we once again reunited with everyone at IPSE to celebrate the weekend and, of course, our anniversary. With live performances by Riky Rick, RAY BLK, Kojo Funds, and blasting DJ sets from Patta SoundSystem, Skinny Macho, BASSGANG, Bafouboy, and Haizel, we can’t wait to do this again in five years.

Major crew love to everyone who came through with the Gute Laune!
