You know how we do it. Twice a year we throw a party that’s hard to miss when you’re part of the whole racing weekend.
This time the Bravey Post-Marathon Club Vibes were planned with extra love by the crew. It all started when our nightlife directress Jacky Noise connected with the wonderful team from Club Maaya. Big shout out to Melissa for being so open minded. The venue has that rare kind of energy, part club and part open-air festival, so of course we had to lock in a fire lineup.

First up were our Amsterdam day-ones Hernsy Hearns and Dennis Branko. They’ve been part of the Braves lineup for years, true vliegende keeps as we say in the Netherlands, always jumping in wherever needed from photography to MC’ing.

Next on deck were our longtime local legends Moneyama and Apollonia, both practically fixtures at any Braves celebration. Then came Helina, who opened one of our parties two years ago and has since risen to full headliner status. We rounded it out with Juba and Acid Finky, two incredible women bringing their own unique energy. Juba has been lighting up dance floors across the world and this was her Braves debut. Acid Finky has been running with us for a while now, so it only felt right to bring her talent to the stage and celebrate what’s growing within our own community.
We also had Koz Floka from Paris’ Eight 8 Lines Crew opening up the main room, and the amazing Kees Kluskens from the Netherlands bringing the visuals to life as our VJ.

The result was one of our all-time favorite marathon afterparties. With over 900 tickets sold on Resident Advisor and more than 1,000 people showing up, we raised the bar once again and proved that sports and nightlife are a match made in heaven. Especially when it’s got that Braves signature written all over it.

An unforgettable night with amazing dj sets, a lot of post marathon movement, and so much love for the culture. 🏃♀️🎶🔥
Thank you, everybody, especially to all the troopers slaying it until 4 am.
So much love,
Joey Elgersma
