The second day of the weekend was, without a doubt, the main event — April 6th: Race Day.
We met early in the morning with all the runners in front of Der Reichstag, where last-minute prep was in full swing. Anti-chafing creams were applied, pockets were stuffed with Maurten gels, and the nerves were electric. Meanwhile, our MVP cheer zone crew was already setting up the iconic BTG cheering station at kilometer 18.

The race kicked off with full intensity. Every runner came in locked and loaded, knowing this was the day. The sun was shining, but the temperatures were far more forgiving than last year — near-perfect race conditions. Energy levels were sky-high, and the cheer zone was getting lit. This year’s spot was absolutely perfect: tons of space to dance, vibe, and go all in. Suns out, guns out. Our party truck was booming with huge tunes from Hearnsy Herns, Apolonia, and Bipolar Soundsystem.
Then it happened — the crowd just kept growing… and growing… until someone shouted that it was a block party. And they weren’t wrong — it turned into a bloccccccckpartyyyy! 😂
The Bravey runners absolutely crushed it. The first Brave flew past our cheer zone in no time. Massive shoutout to Cyprien, who led the charge and finished strong with a blazing time of 01:12:40 — pure fire. But what made the vibe even more special was what happened after the race: one by one, runners returned to the cheer zone, and the party just kept building. The energy was unreal.
And then came the infamous bus.
If you know, you know: we always stop that bus.
Why? Because it follows the very last runner. And if it overtakes them — they’re out. Disqualified. So we stop it. We hold space. We give the final runner everything they need to make it to the finish line. And this year, it worked again. A journalist later told us that the last runner of the day, Mr. Heasman, made it across the finish line.
That’s what it’s all about.
After breaking down the cheer zone, we grabbed a few hours of rest — because next up was the infamous afterparty. IYKYK.
We’ve been throwing these afterparties for years, and this year we took it back to the rave-cave in Wedding: Club Humboldthain. We’re not gonna say too much (you know the rule — what happens at a Braves afterparty stays at a Braves afterparty), but just know it was super litty, as always.
Big shoutout to everyone who came through — runners, friends, and fam from all over the world. We love you.

We’ll leave you with some pictures and videos.
See you in September.
